A new book was released August 7, LAURA INGALLS WILDER’S WALNUT GROVE, by William Anderson. This is a 96 page, full color book, with new information, some previously unseen historic photos, and data.

The book tells about the writing of ON THE BANKS OF PLUM CREEK, its illustrators, the life of the Ingalls family on the creek and in town, the development of the museum and creek site. Dean Butler and Charlotte Stewart contribute their memories of “Little House” life on TV and the NBC Little House on the Prairie television series.
