This optional field trip to Laura Ingalls Wilder’s birthplace at Pepin, Wisconsin, will be available as a separate, ticketed event. You may choose to carpool, or charter bus transportation will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis by paid reservation only. Pricing and itinerary details coming soon.

 

We will leave Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center at 12:30 pm and return by 10:00pm.

 

If you join us, you’ll have a range of activities to fill your time in Pepin.

Some highlights:

 

~Visit the reproduction cabin at Laura’s “Wayside” birth site.

~Learn about Laura’s time in Pepin at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum.

~Walk the streets of Pepin! See some of the same historic buildings the Ingalls passed on their way into town and sample local shops and culinary delights.  

~Maybe you’ll even gather a few pebbles from the shores of beautiful Lake Pepin.  

 

That evening, join us for a wonderful meal and “Dance at Grandpa’s.”

*Our LP19 Pepin Tour paid guests are asked to wear Tour Wristbands as their ticket for entrance to the Museum and Dinner. Your Tour Wristband will be issued on-site at Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center on the day of the tour.

You must register and pay for the Pepin Tour in order to participate in any of the above activities; Pepin Tour ticket sales are first-come, first-serve. If you have a guest who is traveling with you but not attending the Conference, your guest may attend the Pepin Tour with PAID Pepin Tour-only registration.
