Episode 36Â of Trundlebed Tales all about A Doctor Fetched By A Family Dog, Dr. George Tann. It originally aired Saturday, October 27, 2012.
Listen to host Sarah Uthoff and Susan Thurlow as they talk about Dr. George Tann. Dr. Tann was a real life doctor who saved the Ingalls Family when they were sick with malaria in Kansas, Indian Territory. Laura Ingalls Wilder describes the incident in Little House on the Prairie. However, there is much more to Dr. Tann’s life than that. Thurlow has done extensive research and will share her results. She was another speaker at LauraPalooza 2012 and I was very glad that she could come on the show so we could share her research with you.

Is there going to be a LauraPalooza 2013?
No, not in 2013. Our goal is to put a conference on every other year, but this time we’re going to have an extra year in between to change our dates from the even years to the odd ones. We’re planning on LauraPalooza 2015.
I really enjoyed her presentation at LP2012!
