I’m happy to see that Laura’s stories are still being read. I listened to her stories being told by my mother as a child, then recited her stories again to my granddaughters fifty years later! A young librarian doesn’t know the journey’s impact over the prairie in the 1870’s through the eyes of a small girl. The award-winner author, Laura Ingalls Wilder, shouldn’t be dismissed because its story is more than one hundred years old. The “Little House” collection is timeless. Too bad I didn’t hear about the event until four months later.
