An update was just posted on the Pioneer Girl Project blog regarding the South Dakota Historical Press publication of the Laura Ingalls Wilder’s previously unpublished biography, Pioneer Girl, which was first scheduled to be released in the summer of 2013.

I am thankful that SDSHS will not cut corners on this ground-breaking research and that P. S. Hill will not be pressured to rush through her good work. I can wait longer for this book.
I think it is a good idea. It will help us to learn self-denial.

I’m a huge fan of Pamela Smith Hill. Her book is in my opinion the best “Laura book” out there, and I’ve read almost all of them. So I am pleased she is taking her time in the name of accuracy, and I too don’t mind waiting.
